At this ECSS in Rimini Stefan Kranzinger presented his latest research on wearable technology acceptance of the Connected Boot, co-authored with Eva Flasch, Christina Kranzinger and Thomas Stöggl. By combining a modified Technology Acceptance Model with machine learning, they found that perceived usefulness and ease of use were the strongest predictors of perceived behavioral change. Qualitative feedback also highlighted the need for personalized coaching, real-time feedback, and smartwatch integration.
